Free technical assistance from NYCON experts in the areas of human resources, finance, and legal services. The Capacity Lab is partnering with the New York Council on Nonprofits (NYCON) to provide access to free expert technical assistance for Chautauqua County nonprofits.

NYCON will provide technical assistance from its multi-disciplinary staff, in the expertise areas of human resources, finance and legal services. Examples include (but is not limited to) advice on employee issues, hiring, firing, evaluations and retention, review of financial documents, training on budget and financial planning, legal review of contracts, bylaws, or other legal documents.

A NYCON representative will respond by email to schedule a consultation call, from that conversation the next steps and timeline will be determined.

This is a pilot project of The Capacity Lab. Requests will be accepted on a rolling basis until the funds are exhausted. All information will be kept confidential, but an aggregate report of organizations and topics engaged for technical assistance will be shared with TCL Advisory Board members.

• NYCON will review and respond to inquiries on a first come first serve basis
• All activities should be completed within 6-8 weeks.

Organizations must be a registered nonprofit (501(c) 3) located in Chautauqua County.
